What are the main chracteristic differences between stem cells and normal human cells? - stem cells osteoarthritis
I know that stem cell is an undifferentiated cell, and can grow on virtually any cell type. and there are 3 types and they come from.
I have done to answer this question / s could be placed in a context in a comparative overview of stem cells and normal cells.
Nothing else is appreciated on their views on this subject.

According to this criterion, there are three types:
[1] The totipotent cells
A totipotent cell is one, that actually * be able to be any kind of cell in the body. Embryonic stem cells are examples.
[2] The pluripotent cells
Pluripotent cells can differentiate into any cell type of the three germ layers "of the body - tissues (epidermal ectoderm, neural tissue), mesoderm (muscle, bone, blood, connective tissue) and l 'endoderm (intestine, lungs). These cells are totipotent cells differentiated stage
[3] The multipotent cells
The cells are pluripotent cells that differentiate into several cell types, but not enough stem cells plutipotent (eg, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells to bone, cartilage and fat cells). Most of the reviews, samples of adult stem cells are of this type.
